Literature Study: Burnout and Coping among Emergency Room Nurses

Burnout is an emotional fatigue syndrome that often occurs on nurses in Emergency Department (ED). room provide care quickly, responsively, and precisely. One of the factors influence burnout level coping. Previous theories have not been able to explain positive coping for who experience burnout, as well literature review concerning among emergency are still minimal, so further research needed. This study aims identify nurses. a narrative review. Conduct search articles CINAHL, Pubmed, Science Direct, Google Scholar databases using "burnout" AND "coping" "emergency nurse" OR "perawat IGD." Inclusion criteria last ten years, primary research, sample Unrelevant excluded. Thus, 19 relevant were obtained which analysed compare contrast techniques. The results this found prone especially exhaustion dimension. Coping strategies used by planful problem solving, seeking social support, reappraisal effective dealing with problems modifying attitudes. Problem focused associated low risk experiencing burnout. Training use appropriate prevention should be done work errors reduced service quality improved.
